Emphasis is given to issues of diversity, inclusion, and pluralism. We also serve to provide students with advice on a range of issues including their cultural, academic, social, and professional development. Film and Book CollectionsPRLACC offers a growing collection of Latino and Latin American films, books, and journals, which are available to students, staff, and faculty. PRLACC DVD Use Policy & Reservation Form PresentationsOur presentations are designed to facilitate a discussion about issues impacting Latinos, dispel myths and stereotypes, and prepare students and staff to be better equipped to excel in a growing, multicultural society. The presentations are in an interactive format and are usually between 40 and 60 minutes in length. Presentations can be modified to fit the needs of the group. Please contact us 2 weeks in advance to schedule a presentation. Panels/ToursWe enjoy having groups tour the Center. Tours are approximately 15 minutes in length, but can be longer depending on questions from visitors. Special tours requiring presentations or panels should be submitted 2 weeks in advance. Space/FacilityThe Center is a home away from home to many students. In addition to our administrative offices, we have a resource lounge, a computer room, a program room, a conference room, and a kitchen. The program room and conference rooms may be reserved.
